Slides and followup from the first London Redis Meetup

Posted by adam

_Regardless of where in the world you are, take a look at NoSQL Summer, a “worldwide reading club for databases, distributed systems & NOSQL-related scientific papers”. They have some great papers which we highly recommend checking out._

The beer has been drunk, the food eaten, and the video processing attempted. The first London Redis Meetup was a great success, with about 30 fellow Redisers coming along. A big thank you goes out to everyone who attended, and to our host Mint Digital, and to our speakers:

Also thanks to Basheera Khan (our UX head honcho) and Utku Can for coordinating the venu, food, logistics, signage and all those other bits that a meetup could not happen without.

The slides

For everyone who could not make it, you can find the slides for the various talks here:

We also recorded video and audio at the event and we are still in the process of splicing that all together, so watch this space.

Next meetup & getting involved

We are thinking of holding the next meetup in a few months time. Once we finalise a date and a venue then we will let everyone know via the meetup group.

In the meantime we are always looking for people to help out, whether it be presenting, organising, providing a venue, promotion, or just being a general dogs-body Any help is very welcome and will normally be met with free drinks. :)

I can’t view the second set of slides, apparently I’m not a participant in that wave :(

Ah, thanks for letting us know! That should be fixed now if you try again :)
